Leslie Goodman*
Chairman, aged 64
Leslie Goodman was appointed to the Board in
March 2007. He is a qualified solicitor who has spent over
30 years in the investment banking and insurance industries.
He has been a Director of investment banks Hill Samuel and
Barclays de Zoete Wedd and Chief Executive of the insurance
businesses Jardine Lloyds Advisors, ACE Global Markets and
Barbon Insurance Group. He is presently acting Chief Executive
of Genco Resources Limited and holds a number of
Non-executive Directorships.
Ian Powell
Chief Executive, aged 48
Ian Powell joined the Board in March 2007. He qualified
as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before gaining
industrial experience with ICI and Courtaulds Textiles. He was
the majority shareholder and Chief Executive of the sports
and outdoor businesses Ronhill and Mountain Equipment
and subsequently Managing Director of 4imprint UK Broadway,
a business incentives company and Chairman of Dataforce,
a support services business. Until recently he was Chairman
of Banner Limited, a school uniform business.
Andy Weatherstone
Finance Director, aged 46
Andy Weatherstone was appointed to the Board in 2003.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG gaining
experience in Corporate Finance transactions before becoming
Group Finance Director of Bostrom Plc, an international
engineering business. He is a Non-executive Director of
Speciality Coatings (Darwen) Limited.
Jan G Holmstrom
Non-executive Director, aged 57
Jan Holmstrom was appointed to the Board on 26 May 2010.
Jan has spent his career in reinsurance and operational
management in Stockholm, London and Hong Kong.
He is currently the Managing Director of Browallia AB and
a Director of Browallia Holdings Limited, both part of Bronsstadet
Group which is the property and investment group controlled
by Peter Gyllenhammar, who also owns a 29.6% interest in
Chapelthorpe. Jan is also Chairman of Densitron Technologies plc
and a Non-executive Director of Dawson International plc,
Hartest Holdings plc, Pittards plc, Bilderton Limited,
The Union Discount Company of London Limited and
Johnson and Starley Limited.
